From time to time we have
items for sale, they maybe trade-ins, old or excess stock that needs to be
cleared. Often these are custom made where somebody ordered an item and
two was made. Later these become available as clear out sales - and
excellent bargains.

Sony SACD & CD Player SCD-555ES. AUD $2700 - no near offer!

While the massive Top Loader Players SCD-1ES and SCD-777ES
players are essentially the same (SCD-1ES had added balance board that was
next to useless) and the SCD-555ES was the model under that with a more
conventional Front Loader. Sony no longer makes players quite like this.
Battle-ship construction!
Full Vacuum State Level 7+ and also latest Mark 2 VSE Audio Module
(the only Level 7 player fitted like this) that takes output from the unique "VC24" Digital Filter. This digital DSD
signal is fed to the VSE Module and converted to analogue audio using a
analogue function rather that digital function.
These player does not
use any DAC in the signal path. Only Sony made players like this and with
this potential.
The "+" designation also means that this has the
switching module that switches out the S-TACT chip for improved SACD
playback.
Level 7+ also means the Terra Firma Lite (TFL)
clocking is fitted. Power supply enhancements and noise management.
A bargain at AUD $2700 - full 3 Year Warranty on the
upgrades - but not the player. This player has only been modestly used as
it has been my own personal player and usually working on other people's
players have been in my system.
But this has been my own personal reference and is
the most highly developed Level 7+ player done as the TFL has been pushed
further than the standard TFL.

JLTi Mk2 Integrated Amplifier -
with Hypex UcD180HG Class D Outputs. AUD

Rated output is 180 Watts into
4 Ohm and 100 Watts into 8 Ohm.
The original JLTi Mk2 Integrated Amplifier had 35
Watts per channel Gainclone Output Stages. This is the last one for sale
and it was decided to try the new Hypex High
Grade Class D amplifiers in place of the Gainclone circuit.
These Hypex High Grade modules are
considered by many to be the State of the Art of this type of amplifier.
A real bargain if you need a powerful Integrated
Amplifier and the exotic combination of Tube Front-End and Class D into
your loudspeaker. Great sound. Only one will be made available at this
price - and doesn't even cover our costs.
